I decided to post some poetry hubs.

   I've been publishing poetry on Triond because their format is more conducive to that type of short posting. But I decided to give HP a shot because I like it better and I get a lot more visitors here. I tried to overcome the lack of word count by adding some pics, video, polls, and links. Also, I added an intro that explains the poem.
   
   So, I'm just trying to get some other opinions on whether it works with additional content to give people something else to look at without overshadowing the actual poem. If you could give me your opinion and any tips that would be great and much appreciated.

      EYEAM4ANARCHY, I have publish one hub on poetry. And I actually dont' know the response of others who writes poetry. I feel it will make an impact if we poets comes together and drop our poems online.

      great job on the poem.. I like the way it read and there is no rule about it haveing to be a ryming poem. keep it up would like to read some more of your work..

   A long poem is good enough without rhymes. A short poem with no rhyme or meter is not that good.

   I think you did good capturing the various emotions that a schizophrenic person feels. Artwork is definitely scary, lol and good pick for the video. I would suggest keeping your Amazon or Ebay capsules up beside the poem. Get your readers to maybe take a glance n shop? lol the picture maybe at the top? otherwise, well put together.
   
   Pamda there is no rule that all poems must rhyme.

   Thanks Dame. I usually try to put the Ebay and Amazon capsules at the bottom so they don't intrude on the content. I might try and move them around a bit, though. I wanted to put the photo next to the poem, but because of the size, it messed up the format of the poem (even at the smallest size). Even when I moved it to the top, it still hung down into the poem section. I woulda put the polls lower, but I put them up next to the poem as sort of a compromise. That's part of the problem with poetry vs. articles is that the poetry has a somewhat rigid structure and format.
   
   
   Thanks for the input Pamda, but I don't worry about rhyming much. Everybody has different tastes, especially in poetry, so there's nothing wrong with not getting someone else's stuff. The key is to be satisfied in your own skin.

   I've gotta say that I love your poem, no lie. You did a nice job, imo, working with the capsules to flesh out the page. I had to go back and consciously look at the arrangement, though, bc I was pretty absorbed in the writing & didn't really pay much attention!

    If you tag the hub poem or poetry there should be no length restriction.
