Last night my hub "The 21st Century Marketing Event, A must for the Serious Author" Came up on page one on google when the event name was searched! Today it is nowhere to be found! How was it removed and by whom? How do I get it back? Another post about the same subject also disappeared! I don't get it!
If they change their algorithm and/or re-index then your placement can vary.
Was it a new hub? I have had several of my new ones show up fairly quickly and fairly highly ranked, then they completely disappear out of the index for a week or more. This has happened at both Google and Yahoo. It almost seems like they throw it out for a brief tease just to see if it will get a lot of clicks.
Yes it was a new hub! Only a couple days old! That is probaly what happened! It was almost as if it did not exist! Even if I put the complete title in it won't show up!
It kinda sucks to get teased like that. I had #1 at Yahoo once for a few hours, then out of the index for almost 2 weeks.
Just this morning I noticed on Google Analytics that I had a click from an extremely competitive keyword phrase, and I was wondering WTF how did I do that. I took a look, and I was on first page of google. I just checked again, and within an hour or two I am now on page 2 (and will probably be page 50,000 shortly).

Both of my top earning hubs have disappeared from google; without a trace! They are still ranked high with Yahoo and other search engines. I only noticed this because my earnings basically stopped today. Why is this? I didn't do searches for all 40 of my other hubs, but I spot checked 10 of...

I noticed that one of my hubs used to be high on a google search list and it was getting quite a few hits on it. It was listed in the same way as the title of my hub. Today I searched on the same term and, to my surprise, it was no longer there. I had to search down through the...

I wrote a hub called Mint Tea in Marrakech, which was really just a travel article about a trip I made there a few years ago. It wasn't really getting much traffic but when typing 'mint tea marrakech' into Google search engine it was on page 1 or sometimes page 2. Now it has disappeared...

This is just weird. For the last 5 years about 25% of my traffic has consistently come from google UK, but over the last few days this has all vanished. (I'm still getting traffic from all the other google sites including US and Canada.) Is anyone else experiencing UK traffic disappearing?

Here is a question for experts. I am curious how a hub is tracked over time?In specific, suppose I create a new hub or article and it is featured after published on HubPages. After a few days, when the google bot finds it and index it, it appears on google search with some page ranking. After a...

hubpages.com/hub/Roll-Your-Own-Cigarettes-How-To-GuideThat page was completely removed. A search for the url in google turns up nothing but a forum post I made. This is not copied content in any way and I wrote the entire thing myself. I cannot figure why this happened.I also wanted to resubmit it...
