A questoion for hubpages , is poetry really substandard ! ? ! ?

   I can except that poetry doesn't pay the bills .....or whatever !  But as I write something personal -  and am notified that it may be substandard ........I mean huh ?
   
   If poetry isn't good enough for hub pages then please  simply eliminate it from the categories,  wouldn't that be the  proper thing to do ? !

      I assume you mean one of your hubs failed QAP or something like that.  Which happens to all hubs and has nothing to do with it being poetry.

   I am the sole one who only understand what is in my poem.
   He is the lone one who tries to comprehend my poem.
   Poetry is the outlet of powerful emotion
   Poetry is the sudden outpouring of passion.
   Where does passion exist my friend?
   Where does emotion lie my friend?
   In human hearts
   Not in machines
   Machine is mathematics
   Machine is material
   Machine is machine

      Va!!!! Va!!!! Va!!!  I love the SOLE and LONE, also the PASSION and EMOTION.  Poetry is a disease for poets.  It irritates the mind until it is released on a page, real page or online page.  Write on.

   I create
   therefore I am
   I live and share my emotions
   making the sun shine
   or the rain come down
   it's my poetry
   so I do what I feel is right
   the right music
   the right photos
   along with all the I have
   to offer to those
   who will read it
   it cannot and never will be substandard
   not when I have opened up
   my heart and soul

      Heart and soul  That is the essence of poetry.  It is not 'sub-standard' when somebody says, THAT IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL.

   "Humanity IS substandard!"
   Thats what THEY have to say!
   "Can't you do better than that?"
   We hear it every day.
   
   "Shut up! Shut up!!" Its all we ever hear.
   But, Shutting Up, Shutting Up
   Is what we have to fear!
   Write on, ride on, earth riders 'neath the stars.
   Write your poems, sing your tunes
   as brightly as you are.
   
   ...and why not here on HP?

   First of all, it's "question" not "questoion",
   If that's what you means.
   
   Secondly, before comma, there's no space,
   But we have one after it.
   
   Next, "poetry" is a word,
   How could it be "substandard"?
   
   Finally, if your English is as bad as mine (a Chinese),
   Please do not criticize or comment!

   I love nature and its creatures and I love to take photos. As I look at photos I sometimes get inspired to write a poem or haiku. Some of them I have published on HubPages.
   
   What I do to keep those hubs from being substandard is to write more in-depth information about my subjects from my observations and research. So far so good, (cross fingers).

   Truthfully, if you only have a certain amount of words in your Hub it registers as substandard. I have about twenty poems in one Hub and use it as a place to hold them. Therefore, I have never gotten a substandard rating for poetry.
