Could some kind fellow hubbers suggest any improvements to "Dog Care for furry friends"? I added two photos and changed my headline. Thanks very much!
The one thing that strokes me as odd is an excessive amount of link to other people's hubs.
Sorry, psycheskinner. I thought that we were encouraged to link to one another's articles if on related topics. On your advice, I deleted a few links. Thanks for your input.
That was the advice many years ago. We are now advised to keep all outgoing links to a bare minimum, and only very directly relevant links.
I see a few minor things. First, the title is not capitalized (meaning there is nocapitalization of first letter of each word) and the titles of each section are not capitalized except for one section; which is inconsistent, plus I think capitalizing looks better.
Also, I would not put two pictures at the top. Maybe one picture and then move the other to the spot above or below the table you have on the Hub; it would give it a better flow and be easier on the reader's eyes.
Hi Melinda I am not sure if you are interested in traffic (and not having your article unfeatured for lack of traffic), but if you are you need to take a look at your title. You have probably looked things up on the internet to make your dogs life better, but have you ever looked up "dog care for furry friends"? I doubt it, and I doubt that your hub is ever going to get significant traffic from Google because of the title.
You might consider "Six best ways to play with your dog", "best dog care health tips", etc. You need to have a specific title that is related to what the hub is about. To me it seems very general. If that is what you want your title should reflect that, but you also need to realize that few dog owners are likely to read it.
Thanks, DrMark1961. You make an interesting point: I agree that I would not consider my title a useful Internet search prompt. I appreciate your suggestion and will revise accordingly.

When submitting a hub for inclusion to a niche site, we're asked to make sure that we follow the APA guidelines, but there are some things that I'm still not clear about:The Title of the Hub:Does every word have to be capitalized? Yesterday when I got my new hub published it said some stuff was...

I recently noticed that one of my hubs was taking forever to be edited. It had been at the top of google for years or near the top. So I mentioned it on here and now its done so thank you for that. But......I looked to see how many times it had been edited. 6!Why? and why are lots of my other hubs...

Blergh, so I'm going back to my original hubs that are usually a single picture with a block of text and editing them so that they are prettier, longer, and hopefully seen as more Hubpage's friendly. It just seems like it takes forever to revamp them. Does anyone have any tricks to help the process...

It would be very helpful, and much less frustrating, if all those tasked with making edits, AND the programming of the edit-bots were all on the same page!!I have lost count of how many times there have been contrary edits made, mostly to titles of my articles and capsule headings. In some cases,...

I always use capitalizemytitle.com to get my titles and subtitles capitalized in the right way, but since yesterday the site won't come up anymore. Not from my bookmark and not directly from my browser. It keeps spinning and spinning. Is anybody else having troubles opening this website?

Is keeping the initials of all the words (except and, of, to etc) in capital letter is the right way or only the first initial of the first word should be kept in capital?? Or both the ways are correct?? Here on hubpages and other websites allows both the ways but still is there any such rule in...
