Just published this and need your good help: "A Few Suggestions for HubPages that may improve the site"
http://hubpages.com/community/A-Few-Sug … e-the-site
Thanks
What if I pointed out to you that the title of this thread is grammatically incorrect?
Let's do something to this hub.
What?
Feedback!
You're a real troll on here aren't you.
HP should take notice. I think they have a policy of being 18 and above or 15 and above.
DasEngel, you have asked for feedback about your hub. I will pay you the courtesy of providing feedback, but in return I expect you to give careful consideration to what I write. That's how this 'service' was set up to operate. If you ask for feedback, you're supposed to listen to it.
There's a very long list of what's wrong with your hub and how it falls short of the required standard. A good starting point would be to pay attention to the guidelines clearly shown in 'edit'. If you can't figure out what is needed when you are in edit mode, then I suggest you read the relevant sections in the Learning Center. There is no reason for me or anyone else to create a list specifically for you when so many helpful resources already exist.
When it comes to this particular hub of yours, there is one glaring problem. It is the same problem you repeatedly demonstrate in your many forum posts ....
Before writing about making changes to HubPages, you should take the time and make the effort to understand how HP actually works right now.
Hubbers are expected to have a reasonable amount of expertise in any topic they write about. So when you choose to be critical of hp and other hubbers and, as in this hub plus forum threads, suggest changes to how hp should work, you should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of your topic. But you don't.
All hubbers should know instantly that one text capsule does not make a quality hub.
And all hubbers should be aware that asking for feedback to get their hub featured should be sought only after first trying everything they can think of to improve their hub by themselves.
Now, I am left wondering why anyone would write one text capsule and then immediately create a forum thread asking for 'help'. The possible answers that spring to mind include:
- not being able to understand simple, basic instructions provided by HP
- being too lazy or insecure to complete a task alone
- being eager to be the center of attention, even if it means looking like a bit of a fool.
I am not attributing any of these options to you, Das Engel, but simply offering feedback about your sub-standard hub as requested. You need to identify why you choose to write what you do, the way you do ... and then make whatever changes are necessary to bring your hub/s up to standard.
Once you develop a real and genuine understanding of HubPages and what it takes to be a successful hubber, I believe you'll feel less inclined to write things that demonstrate your lack of understanding.
Good luck.
Well, thanks. We don't understand a story or a cinema starting from its middle, do we?
OK, forget the hub, just give feedback on the ideas the hub is suggesting.
Be careful, the sunlight is softening your wax too much.
Don't worry though Ch--, oops, I mean DasEngel, all the keyboard warriors will be easily fooled again!

I like to check Hubpages on breaks at work. Now, I can't access my Hub feed because a Hubber chose to write a Hub about drugs, and Hubpages hasn't caught onto it yet. My organization is pretty fair on what it blocks/allows. Usually blocks things about gun violence, cults, and drugs. They also only...

Hello, hubpages! I'm new, and I've completed and published my first hub (though it still does not seem to be indexed on the site), that I've written in exploration of the Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire. I hope to continue learning and writing about this fascinating man and his...

I just read the hub challenge that asked us to flag hubs that were poor in quality, etcso, out of curiosity I went to the Hubs section and hit latest and ....holy cwap, batman!!! there is so much junk here. It is clear that many either wrote a hub in their native language and translated it via...

Hi,The title says it all. I am wondering whether the standard summary Hubpages recommend is good enough or whether one should write a good summary for each hub. Thanks!

Hi Hubbers,I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Heaven's Gate ( what will you do when you get there?). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Pretty much without exception my Hub score will drop two, three or more points within an hour or two of first posting a Hub. Then it gradually, eventually goes up again. For example, today, March 31, 2011, I posted a Hub and my score dropped like a rock three points. I don't understand this. I...
