    Hi Hubbers,

    I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Why you SHOULDN'T Prepare for that interview! (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi, some suggestions for improving on your hub are -

      'If you want to stand out from other candidates and authentically engage with your interviewer than a pre-rehearsed plan is not the way to go.' - Replace 'than' with 'then'.

      Change your headings to title case.

      Overall I found your hub quite informative and interesting, so wish you all the best - thanks, regards...

    I personally thought this was an excellent Hub. I don't see how you can improve it. Good luck passing the Quality Assessment. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

    Yes, Title Face for sub-heads.

    Also, you need to credit the sources of your images and be sure they are free of copyright restrictions.

    Break up the large blocks of type into smaller paragraphs.

    Hope that gets you through QAP.

    Hi there

    The link to your website is preventing your hub being approved. You can't promote your own business at HubPages... your username gives it away.

    The other reason is that the text has been published elsewhere. Hubpages won't allow duplicate content. At all. You will either have to remove the article from Medium.com or re-write it completely for HubPages.

    Hope that helps.

    Raggededge has given you the correct answer.

    We're seeing a rash of businesses joining HubPages recently, with the blatant aim of promoting their business.   It's an idea that's about three years out of date.  If you're taking the advice of some internet guru, then I'd be suspicious of all his other advice too.  Things change very fast on the internet. Ideas that worked two years ago, no longer work.

      Now, HubPages prohibits blatant self-promotion. If you want to get a backlink to your business, then you need to do the following:

    - Don't choose a username that relates to the topic of your Hubs;
    - Don't write a profile that promotes or mentions your business;
    - Choose your Hub topic such that you can link to a specific article on your website, giving additional information that's directly relevant to the topic;
    - Write a top quality original article that ticks most of the boxes in the Stellar Hub guidelines (top right hand corner of the Hub when in Edit mode), so it will be transferred to a niche site.

      Can I change my username? The content is professionally written, original, and quite worthy.

        Unfortunately no, you can't change your username.  Your only option is to delete your account and start again with a new one.

          And a different article smile

          Unless your ambition is to be a writer at HP, there's no point.

        Actually I meant to say, no, the article is not original according to HubPages' definition.   HubPages definition is "not currently published anywhere else online."
