   I am researching each state after my Treasures in Your Backyard Article.  Does anyone have anything awesome to share about their state for me? This is Petit Jean State Park in AR:  My favorite thinking spot.

         I've been to Atlanta and we almost went there but it was towards the end of our trip and we had to pick between that or the aquarium.  Stone Mountain is on our next trip!  Thanks for the tip!

      I live in California, and there are many more incredible places here than I can name. There is Yosemite National park. You could spend weeks exploring that one alone.
      
      There is an amazing variety of beaches stretching across our long coastline. Everything from white sand and surfing at to cliffs, elephant seal rookeries and whale watching.
      
      We have mountains, redwood forests and deserts. For redwoods I love Hwy 101 in northern California.

         That is my next major road trip!! I am dying to fly to south Cali and rent a car n drive up to Seattle.   A road tripper's dream trip!

      Love Canada and all things Canadian!  I've only been to BC and stayed in Vancouver but loved it! I so wish we had a Tim Hortons here because I miss the maple donuts!

      Will do!  Thanks for the info and would am now interested in studying Tanzania more!  I taught world geography for 3 years and can't get enough of every culture I can find!

   Illinois with a great state with alot to offer. Chicago is amazing and Joliet, Aurora, Naperville, Rockford, and Elgin are other large cities with stuff to offer. Lake Michigan, festivals, sports, food, check us out!

      I want to!  Another spot on my road trip list!  I have a trip planned to come up through St. Louis n find all the goodies between there n Chicago and then over to Cleveland! Then explore Ohio and back down to see Louisville and Kentucky!   I have a lot of road trips mapped out, haha!   Thanks for the advice!  I'll add those spots to my list for that one!

   Everything about Alabama is awesome.. I've only lived here since 2011, but I was born here.  the black belt region, and along the Alabama river is pretty nice to visit..

   Also in Atlanta, a Downtown trip can include the aquarium, CNN Studio Tours, right around the corner, The World of Coca Cola (You can taste many strange products they produce for other cultures, bring your vomit bucket). Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market are both places to go to get trendy bites, shop a little and sit indoors or outdoors to eat and drink. Ponce city market is on the BeltLine
   
   (The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that is transforming the city. It will ultimately connect 45 intown neighborhoods via a 22-mile loop of multi-use trails, modern streetcar, and parks – all based on railroad corridors that formerly encircled Atlanta.)

      Yes, the European ones were the worst to me!   As a coke drinker, that was a must for us and so cool!  We'll have to check out those other places next time we go! Thanks for the info!
