Do you think after a certain amount of children a woman should be made to tie their tubes and if so
No! No one has the right to determine another adult persons course of life.
The United States government was sued by the Native people for doing this self same thing to native women.
Hitler and his cronies did this to unsuspecting women too look where it got him and his believers.
It would be a gross violation of personal rights to require a woman to do that. Instead people should be aware of how many children they can actually nurture and support and stop when they've hit that limit. It would be nice if they thought about the economic and environmental effects of having lots of children, but it's still their call.
Government should never be given this amount of control. The best idea is one I heard on a forum the other day:
Money should be spent on educating new mothers, especially those on public assistance programs. They should be told about all of the assistance they will receive and the programs available to them to ensure their child is cared for. They should be educated that support will be provided for that child only, and if they decide to have more children without a means of supporting it and themselves, they will lose government support including whatever they were receiving before having the first child.
A woman should be able to have as many children as she likes.
I would prefer if there was a limit on a 'certain amount' of Abortions a woman can have though.
Hello,
Now, I'm not female, but I wanted to relay my opinion, because I think it's relevant.
There still remains a problem in America about "Woman" and their rights.
Up to recently, Women were not on equal pay basis with Men. Now, Women are to be paid, just like a Man. It's about time!
Secondly, on your topic of Women and their children? A Woman should be able to do whatever she wishes, as long as she is self-reliant, self-responsible and honest with herself.
Abortions should ALWAYS remain with the Woman. NO authority has the right to strip her of rights to do what she wants with her life, even if it is detrimental to her own life.
Choice is a Woman's only defense. The freedom to make decisions about what she is do with her life is for her to make and no one else.
If she chooses to have 10 children.....be responsible about it, make sure each has a structured family life, so they can grow. It is the Woman's choice of how many children to bare, but beware of the hazards at older ages.
Having your tubes tied is a solution? But, should never be forced upon any female, at no time.
I hope I was helpful.
ONLY if proven that she is incapable or unwilling to provide both emotionally and financially for the children she already has..
MADE? no! but if you feel your family is complete and you are getting to that point where you have, one, little room, two, you feel like you are complete, and three, that you don't want any more children, then you should think about your choices. getting your tubes tied, is a good choice. but remember, there are other choices! explore those choices! don't make a decision you may regret! but i hear now that you are able to reverse the tube tying. so if you decide later that you do want more kids, you can!

Should there be a limit to the amount of children one family should have in the US?We know in some countries like China the government tells people the amount of children to have. Should we look into that for America?

Do you think a woman with more than 8 children has a mental problem?Isn't it just a little insane to have so many children? Unless you are a gazillionaire how on earth could you afford so many children? And how much time would you really have to spend with them ?Just curious if anyone else thinks...

The Christian Bible says A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet ( 1 Tim 2:11.12)Why do fundamentalist christians who believe that the bible is the word of God never teach what the bible says...
