I have a question about spirits.
I asked this yesterday but I did not get specific enough. I am writing novel two and one of the characters is a spirit trying to accomplish something in order to find his final rest. He is dead, there is no out of body experience. He has been given an assignment of two people to help before he can find rest. There may be no specific classification for such an entity, but a pretty close guess would be nice. Any input would be appreciated.
You are the author of this book. This spirit or ghost is a character from your imagination. Why don't you make the determination as to any characterization or classification you want for this particular character. This book is a work of fiction. You don't have to have any actual classification. You can simply make one up. If you want to, make up a new word and simply use it to refer to your character. The sky is the limit on word usage. Use your imagination to create a niche word for this spirit. I think you will be happier with the outcome because this is your baby and the input you are truly looking for is from your own imagination. Good Luck with your book.
Dr. Marie
I agree with your husband. Dr. Marie has given great advice. Did you read 'Stranger In A Strange Land'? There's an example if I grock what Dr. Marie wrote :-)
And BTW - Have fun creating your fiction.
