How is the Microsoft Word Ban going to affect us? Or is it something only for Corporates to ponder?
When you ask a question, there is a space below it where, as part of the procedure. you can put in a LOT of words to supplement and explain the headline of the question.
Bottom line, what the eff are you talking about?
I am sorry for being vague...but after I read the news that Microsoft is going to stop selling its premier software "WORD" because it lost its court case - I am worried if end users like myself will be able to use Word in 2010 and also if we will get support for it if we have any problems with the software.
Furthermore, most new computers in general come bundled with microsoft office products, and Word is one of them? Will this be stopped?
well, i had not heard of this until i saw this question so i googled it and found that MS will have to stop selling its 2003 and 2007 versions within the next year or so, but they are also coming out with a new version, 2010, that will take 2007's place. I guess all this means is that if you really like ms word 2003 or 07 then you better buy all the copies you want soon!
Should not affect the Web Limited has issued new coverage can use the Web Limited has old.
Be honest now, how much support do you need?
I have been using word since about 1997 and I have never needed to call support once.
The issue I think is that Word 2007 documents are of a different format than those of 2003. The worry appears to be that the format would not carry forth in the new release. As long as the 2007 'docx' file format will be continued, I cannot see an issue.
It is said by Microsoft that the XML infringement is only a small, rarely used part of the program and should not affect those who are already using the 2007 version.

Question about Microsoft WordIs there any way to take something that has been copied and pasted and turn it from ALL CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE THIS to regular lower case text without having to rewrite it? Or, maybe to go the other way and turn all the little letters into big letters? Thanks in advance!

I got accepted to a few websites that I can now write articles for. One of those places is Constant Content. Thankfully, I got approved after taking a short grammar test and submitting a 250 word sample (which IMO is short). Quite frankly, I was scared I got one of questions wrong because I said...
