i think it depends on where u live, but generally 15, 16 you can get a job... try McDonald's, ask them for job opportunities and they'll give you a code, go online and fill out the form. they hire lots of highschool students...
I had a job at McD's in grade 10. it wasnt too bad.
    good luck!

When I was 13 I had a paper route and at 15 working in the supermarket hauling shopping carts and packing groceries. When it was slow we stocked shelves. In today's job market the competition is very stiff and it is much tougher to find good part time job.

Do you have any family members or neighbors that are elderly that may be in need of help around the yard. Raking leaves, trimming bushes, clipping lawns or even painting fences are all good ideas to help make a little extra cash.

Get with a friend, on the computer make some flyers and business cards advertising your services along with your business name. You will probably end up making much more money this way than if you had a job at McDonald's.

Running a business does takes a commitment and dedication and only you can ask yourself if you are up to the task and willing to stick with it. Once you have a few customers happy with the quality of your work, the word will spread and you may soon have more work than you know what to do with.

The life skills you learn running and managing your own business can be invaluable later on in life when you may want to start your own business full time to support yourself and family.
