   How do you manage to get so much traffic to your hubpages?
   
   Ive been with hubpages for 5 weeks now, and have written 5 hubs (I plan to write a lot more). I have only recieved a total of 220 total views on my pages which totaled for a whopping number of $2.31 on google adsense. Yesterday i submitted all of my hubs to Digg, Stumbleupon, and Delicious. I got a couple of views thanks to these social bookmarking site, but i was expecting more.

   I always invite people by leaving comment. Not only scam comment. Show your attention about their hub, by showing good point about the topic. Try to give the best to your fans or other hubbers by informative hub. I believe you'll get many good responses and it good for your traffic. I hope you'll get more traffic this day.    I've just had a look at your hubs, and whilst informative they are a little short. If you try to expand on the word count, without padding text you will increase the hub score for your pages, and you profile will be ranked higher which can lead to more traffic.
   
   Whilst it may be difficult, try to increase the word count to 600-800 words.
   
   Also try to use a range of the add-on features such as images, links and videos as this will also help.
   
   The search engines will not follow hubs if the hub score is too low, so you will not benefit from much external traffic until your score is increased. I think you need to have a hubscore of over 74 for the search engines to follow and list.
   
   Just been looking into it myself......
   
   Stick with it and don't give up on Hubpages!

   thanks you both for your input, its very helpful. I have recieved a few views from search engines, but under 10 for sure. So either someone actually went to page 33 on google, or had the exact right search so mine ended up on the first page or two. Anyways, thanks, I shall try my best to increase the word count from a couple hundred words to 500 or more.

   The bulk of my traffic is "organic" which means it comes from the search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) without me actually doing anything special.
   
   I mostly just write about things that I know in a way that I think will be interesting and useful to people.  My main criteria when I make a Hub is "would I use that myself as a guide or reference?"

   You've already received great advice, but there is another thing you can do to get more traffic. Write a few articles that pertain to the topic of your hubs and put a link to your hubs in the resource boxes. Submitting to directories that spread your link across the web really helps!
