Is that allowed? Also, can I use my hub posts for my blog?
I believe the answer is no. You won't be benefitting your blog or your hubs (duplicate content).
I create hubs on topics that I wouldn't normally write on my blog. You could create some hubs using ideas from your blog but you would need to re-write them.
You can also include links to your blog in your profile and as your profile raises on hubpages more people will check out your profile and your blog.
Actually, you could use your blog posts here, but you may hit the duplicate content filter.
The best way to repurpose other content you've written is to use it as a springboard for new stuff. So take a look at some of your blog posts. Is there an idea in one of them that you'd like to expand upon? Then borrow just one paragraph and build upon it. Write in more dept, add supporting links, video, merchandise from Ebay and Amazon, photos, etc.
It's pretty easy to come up with some brand new stuff and in the long run it will serve both your hub rankings and your blogging better because you can link back and forth between the two without causing your readers to get a sense of "deja vu".
My understanding is that there's no point (either in using your HubPages as blog posts or vice versa) because search engines penalise duplicate content, so you won't be doing yourself any good. Someone feel free to correct me if I've misunderstood that!
Much better to write original content on each and cross-promote (e.g. if you write a relevant HubPage, include a link to your blog, and vice versa).
You also could submit your blog to the social bookmarking site, for getting traffic and back link. I have a collection of 150 social bookmarking site you could use to promote your blog:
<snipped link>
If posting here and on a blog trips a duplicate content filter, why is article syndication still one of the best ways to gain links?
Darkside, So what’s the difference between posting an article to a blog and HP, and using multiple tags on HP. Shouldn’t they both create duplicate content problems?
What do you mean by "tags"? It's the actual content that triggers the duplicate content problem, not the keywords (which is basically what tags are on HP)
Actually Marisa, you have pointed out something I hadn’t noticed about HP, normally tags generate a unique URL each time you tag an article, so if you add multiple tags you generate multiple URLs with dupe content.
I've wondered too - there are hubbers who post on both. Do their hubs show up as duplicate content? And ezine articles don't! Strange!
@ Shalin @gearinbrain
Some articles I post here only, some I post here and syndicate. The only penalty I have ever incurred is a lowering of Hubscore from HPs own duplicate content filter.
Perhaps I am different to the average Hubber, I hope the articles I write are helpful and the reader takes something away from them but I don’t write articles with the intention of getting them to rank, earn Adsense revenue or gain PageRank. I write articles to and promote my own web properties and those of my clients.
@ darkside
The point I was trying to make when I asked the question about dupe content was if any duplicate filter existed I would not expect to receive PageRank, traffic or link juice yet I do.
However, I stopped worrying about PageRank a long time ago; I feel it has been seriously devalued and has no real correlation to rankings. Instead I concentrate on relevancy, although I am always happy to see traffic regardless where it comes from.

I was on another thread and someone said many people sign up on HubPages, but very few go on to write a substantial number of quality Hubs.I wonder why this is and what HubPages can do to encourage people to stay on and improve their Hubs, which seems to be what they want. All my Hubs were recently...

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...

I have a question about whether or not I should delete an article and re-write a whole new one with updated content and new images. The old article was published in 2013, has had one view in the last 30 days and has a total view count of 769. Also, it's not on a niche site.I want to delete the old...
