Yes, ramkkasturi, Grandparents Day is celebrated in the United States. (see SarahLambert's response). Hallmark Inc. and the Hallmark Card shops never leave anyone out! There are cards for every occasion and every group of people. That's there business: to promote selling their stationary to celebrate SOMETHING. And through the many Hallmark and other card shops, there are plenty of reminders, as well as plenty of cards to choose from to help promote this occasion. I hope that gives you a broader idea of the motivation of this company, behind the celebration.
