What do you think about bullfighting? Do you think it is a test of courage and skill?

Then the hunter could demonstrate all sorts of skills, and be justified in bragging about his ... The men are not courageous at all .. the bull is meant to die, ... To all of you that say the animals suffer, how do you think that nice .

I agree - IMHO, its just cowardice. The whole affair just looks so pathetic. Wonder why people go to these events. Perhaps, someone who enjoys bullfighting and thinks differently would be able to shed some light on what's so appealing about bullfighting?

personally i am not supporter of bull fights..for showing courage and skills , man has better thing and bigger challenge..it is called life which allows man to show all the courage , skills which he has got..why kill animal for it?

If the fight was fair, but it isn't bull fighting experts watch how the bull moves and reacts in the ring and this is when the onesidedness starts.  Those spears you see hanging from the bull are used to weaken the muscles and of course there is also the loss of blood.

So the poor animal is at a massive disadvantage before the matador even enters the ring.
One on one would be much more fun and if the bull was rewarded with a life of luxury and a field full of cows for stomping the odd matador, even better.

If you want to see real one to one fun with a bull pay a visit to the Huntsville Prison Rodeo where the inmates have to snatch a tobacco pouch full of money off the horns of a big bull.

Everyone including the bull seems to have fun !

I think its just animal neglect. If people were doing this to any other wild or farm animal people would be outraged. I think its cruel.

I think it's cruel and pitiful. To me, it's just another example of the many cruel things that are done to innocent animals.

Yes, I agree that bullfighting proves only that man is a coward. Fight the animal on its own terms and you'll see the mighty matador flee for his life. But this is the same with most any "sport" involving man and animal. For example, hunters use rifles that can kill an animal from one mile away. Is this sport? The great hunter dresses up in camouflage and sneaks around in bushes with a high-powered rifle. If this were indeed a sport, the hunter would be armed only with a knife or, better yet, use bare hands to kill his prey. Bullfighting merely demonstrates how weak man is on this planet.

I think they're a bunch of nuts. Who would want to face a bull with big ole' horns that is ready to rip you to shreds???????? That's crazy! I hope they are uber rich!
