Why, when there are plenty of hungry mouths or healthcare deprived in the US (such that...
Presidents are willing to violate the constitution or at least flirt with its limits rather then the people in the US solving it without government intervention) do Americans decide to cry over such problems in places like Africa?
Because some people are more more selfless than you evidently are. What the hell does it matter where a particular problem takes place? If you can help some starving people in Africa would you decline to do so just because you'd rather wine about your own corrupt government? Gimme a break.
Government by definition is corrupt. That isn't my point. Helping people wherever you find them is worthy of praise but perhaps it is worth being curious why people are not willing to look around them for problems to solve and prefer to send money elsewhere at problems that they cant prove they helped solve at all.
Luckly enough the US may be able to help itself but Africa cannot help itself ... we (the white man) screwed them over nicely by carving countries out of land which was never divided in countries; we ruled them for years on end and drained as many natural resources as possible. The story can go on but I will end here. It is our duty as human beings and citizens of this world to help those in need (Europe should actually pay Africans restitution but that's another story again).

If you had the power to change one thing in our world what would that be?Think carefully before answering as any inane, pathetic and lame answers will be ridiculed and laughed at appropriately. If you could make one change in the world what would that change be. Would it be to make all food free...

I received this today in my e-mail...If you didn't have a good enough reason to fight this so-called healthcare scheme, now you do! Refuse to be chipped like a dog! This is buried in the "healthcare" bill: http://ppjg.wordpress.com/2010/03/30/re … -registry/

If marriage laws were discriminatory, is the presidential age restriction also discriminatory? In the US you must be at least 35 to be President. Is that discriminatory? It's not 'for your own good' like the minimum age for alcohol consumption. It's not a safety issue like the minimum driving age.

So now those great humanitarian activists busy fouling Zuccotti Park are complaining about the poor and needy eating food provided by the relatively wealthy because they are genuinely hungry, needy and homeless. The spoiled whiners can't beat their drums or take a good pee in public if their...
