How do you research and write your hubs?
What methods do you use when selecting topics, doing research on your selected topic, and then writing your own hubs? What does your hub research and writing process entail? How do you get it done?
I select topics that interest me, my hobbies, so I mainly don't have to do research because I write from experience.
Where I have to research, mainly for print writing, I always use at least three resources, write up notes from each, then turn the notes into the article, that pretty much makes sure there is no repetition and plagiarism.
I write notes on 5x3 index cards so that I can shuffle them around in front of me whilst working out the format of the piece.
So far I have authored only few hubs. Whenever I am in relaxed mood, I start thinking about some of the topics which would be beneficial to a mankind. The moment something clicks in my mind, I start writing down on a paper making it comprehensive to bring it on my hub. Due to hectic schedule of daily life, I get little time to write on hub but whenever I am free in between the day time, I don't waste time and start answering the questions of my capability. This way I enjoy the quality time with my family members.
I am two months old on hubpages, and have written only 19 hubs so far. I actually do a lot of research about the topic before I write, they are usually topics of my interest and a little more deeper understanding gives me my flow while writing.
I choose topics of general interest, from current affairs or from my teaching experiences.
I am a member of hubmob weekly, so I try to make at least one or two hubs on the hubmob topic every week - that gives me hubmob viewership and followers.
Actually right now in the next three months I am planning to experiment and write on as diverse topics as possible to get a good collection of hubs. Then I'll analyse, which topics do well and attract readers and which topics aren't very important for others.

I want to write about things I love, which is what I'm told you should do. So, for you guys who have had successful hubs, are your hubs like that because:You got lucky, and what you're passionate about is a hot topic; You made hubs that you knew were popular topics;Or some other reason?

Writing has always been my way of talking when no-one is listening so finding HubPages is as good as picking up the phone and knowing there is someone on the other end of the line.My problem is that I have so much to write about I don't know what my niche is or if I even want one. What do you think...

Ok, here goes. I rarely get involved in the forums, I guess I am a little on the shy side. I have been here almost 2 years now and have published over 80 hubs. I have only had 2 ever unfeatured and have deleted those and a couple more that I thought just were not up to par. My...

Ever have a great idea for a hub, but don't want to write it?I figure one man's trash is another man's treasure, right? We could dump the things we would LOVE to read about (but would HATE to write about), right here! (Or just general ideas for a hub you have that you know you'll never get around...

Well, summer is fast approaching here in sunny Florida, so I've been busy clearing as much area as possible to grow an organic garden. Florida betony, by the way, has an ubiquitous root system! Today I'm feeling a little fatigued, and if any of you have casually checked my Facebook posts, you'll...

I am sort of disappointed. I try to be active in the site as much as possible, comment on other people's hubs, help out in the forums, add new hubs once every two weeks, participate in the question and answer and my hubscore is slowly decreasing. Any advice from expert Hubbers on how to...
