The expression ("the road least traveled"): What does this mean to you?
I was brought up believe the saying means this. Most people take the easy way out of anything because they don't want to always do things right. It's usually harder to do the right thing, so the honest and right way would be "the road least traveled".
That means do the thing which not many people do, may be because its too hard or it is the right thing to do. Road less traveled is a metaphor for saying taking a well needed risk.
It's from a famous poem by Robert Frost. It starts
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
and ends:
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
you can read the entire poem at http://www.amandashome.com/road.html
The poem is about the choices we make in life. Sometimes we take the well beaten path that many or most have taken before us. But sometimes, some people chose the path that fewer people take (perhaps in selecting a career as an artist or priest instead of an accountant or programmer).
Robert Frost being a poet took the less traveled road, and as he said, for him, that has made all the difference.

I'd appreciate it if some of you would state what you think this means in your own words. It can mean several things depending on the circumstance. "The potential does not always transcend into something greater, although it may want to or feel compelled to. You are unaware of the perspective...

Dashboard "Feature" insignia ~ What does this mean?We see the Hubpages Logo within a black circle in our dashboard for some articles. How does it get there? What does it mean? We used to have "z" or other mark, which now seems no longer there.
