   These verses are among the most important in the entire Bible:
   
   John 3:1-7 (Contemporary English Version)
   
   1There was a man named Nicodemus who was a Pharisee and a Jewish leader. 2One night he went to Jesus and said, "Sir, we know that God has sent you to teach us. You could not work these miracles, unless God were with you."
   
       3Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!"
   
       4Nicodemus asked, "How can a grown man ever be born a second time?"
   
       5Jesus answered:
   
      I tell you for certain that before you can get into God's kingdom, you must be born not only by water, but by the Spirit. 6Humans give life to their children. Yet only God's Spirit can change you into a child of God. 7Don't be surprised when I say that you must be born from above.
   
   Jesus made it clear that in order to obtain salvation,two different baptisms are required,a water baptism from a clergyman and the Holy Spirit baptism from God sent to those He selects for salvation due to  their personal holiness.
   
   GOOD NEWS: Thank God that all those "Christians" who continue to support war and harbor racial hatred which they are now expressing politically,will never receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and therefore will never receive salvation.

   1ST- of all to be born again is to accept Jesus as your Lord-Romans 10:9-10 Born again means to be reunited to God through Jesus.
   2ND-By laying on hands the Holy Spirit shall be received-"Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost" (Acts 8:17).
   
   "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire" (Matthew 3:11).
   Water baptism is good and represents the washed away and forth new in Christ.
   But to say one has to be baptized by water in order to be saved isn't correct. Who so ever calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved- refer back to Rom 10:9-10.
   We are supposed to make it plain and clear how to be saved! God has made it easy- believe in my Son, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead! Believe is the main key!
   
   And for DRDEANCROSBY's comment>>
   We are not supposed to be thanking God for someone not being saved! We are to pray and intercess for them, pray for there forgiveness. God doesn't want ONE to perish! Not even you!
   For the baptism of the Holy spirit doesn't require perfection and a lot of those who have sinned and walked down a path of destruction God says it will quench the Holy Spirit. Because of Jesus and us accepting Him we can receive the Holy Spirit in Jesus name - But don't quench His spirit!
   1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
   1 John 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

   Why do you say 'Believe is the main key'? Do you have any supporting verses?

   There are many who call the name of Jesus but they are not believers? Can they be saved?
