Do you use herbs?
I discovered the benefits of herbs for health some years ago and I wouldn't want to be without them now. Do you use them, in cooking or as health remedies?
The photo is of Comfrey growing in my garden. It's far bigger now and I use it to make ointment for aches and pains.
yup. i'll try to look for its scientific name because I only know their local names.
The scientific names are hard to remember. I like using the local, or folk names.
I grow rosemary and coriander on my balcony and they sell an absolute abundance of herbs down our markets.
Papatya (Camomile) grows wild just about everywhere here there are always little old ladies foraging along the roadsides throughout summer. Not sure exactly what they are picking but they walk away with carrier bags full!
I use lot of thyme, sage and cumin in my cooking and just experiment with it all.
