Get a Reality Show.... seems to be instant fame.  The more horrible you are the more famous you become.  My question is what is going to happen when the flame of fame begin to fade?

You can also try doing something good for someone else.  Fame may not be instant or wide-spread but in your inner circle it will be lasting.....just a thought!

If you just want to be famous, then do something shocking - either good, bad or extremely dangerous - and make sure to leak it to the press.  Save someone's life, get a sex change operation, file a discrimination lawsuit ("They wouldn't hire me because I'm part Native American"), scream hysterically at a politician in public and have to be removed by the police, or otherwise loudly freak out in front of hundreds of people (the subway, a busy intersection, your kid's school).  Tip:  Try to get video footage, and then post it on Youtube.  The news outlets should then do the work for you.

I don't really see the fascination in being famous, when i look at the celebs of today, i see a lot of them are going down hill because of the constant paparazzi and every part of their life being sold to the highest bidder. Most of them end up divorced or worse on drugs, alcohol, or in and out of court for one crime or another. And when their fame ends and their money runs out they end up depressed or in rehab. Fame is not what it used to be, where people were recognised for their talents, all you need to do to be famous these days is go on a reality tv show. Although lately woman seem to get instant fame just for sleeping with a footballer.

The way I see it, you could go one of two different directions.  Either do something awesome like invent a vehicle that goes faster than the speed of light, or something crazy like appearing on a reality show like Wipeout.

Either of those should get you anywhere from 15 minutes to multiple centuries of fame.

    Good luck!

Here's what you do for INSTANT fame (your definite 15 mintes):
Wait until somebody really powerful and famous comes to town, or go to where yo uknow they're going to be (this works really well with political or religious figures.

Wait for the right moment during their parade or speech or that "I'm  a people person visit" to wherever, then drop your clothes (be sureyou have something bodypainted on) and go running through the medai's view nd shouting something cmpletely ludicrous like "The cans of Spam are trying to eat my brain!" or "Lindsey Lohan is a fine actress" or "Ryan Seacrest has captured the hearts and minds or America's youth through mind altering chemicals transmitted through my TV!"
That'll ASSUREDLY make you famous for a short while.
