    What is your favorite animal?

Imaginary, real, or your own creation, but why?

My favorite animal would have to be the cat... They are very indepedent and resourceful. You don't have to worry about them, they know how to take care of themselves...

    Like most women...

I love all animals! Ever since I had an experience with a Panther, I have attracted cats into my life. I have a cat sitting right behind me at the moment in the same chair I am sitting.
.I love dolphins, birds.deer.. Before that I had all kinds of dogs. We had an small baby alligator for awhile as a child. also I had a potbellied pig, and 2 other pigs, chickens, ducks and a pet seagull. I believe we have totem animals that hang around us.
I have a friend Carroll, that usually when we go swimming in the Gulf, big fish swim around us. known as sharks. so I am fascinated by wildlife and survival stories.

The giraffe. They are tall, strong and beautiful animals that can't make any noise! I love them!

I wouldn't mind having a pet chimera. Could come in handy.

Siberian Huskies are pretty awesome! I don't know why, but I just think they look cool, probably because of their thick coat and strong coloured eyes.

Tiger. Strong and proud. Sleek and firm. I admire their power and possibilities. Their color instantly makes me smile.

I'm torn between a cat and a dog. Dog I have found to be more loyal, but cats are terrific!

In general I am quite fond of monkeys. I am not so sure why I have always been interested in them. These are by far my favorite animals.

Dogs.  They are like potato chips, you can't have just one.

The hawk, owl and eagle own the skies, soaring above, seeking their prey.  They have the time and the skill to pick , and to choose.

The wolf, so alone, so ferocious, so feared........he   touches us all.

The fox, such a sly and creative creature.

It is the cat, not the neighborhood tom, not the family pet, but the wild cat.......perhaps a panther, a mountain lion that should be revered.  Either of them have the skills that I wish to possess.  Stealth, cunning, and patience.

With a quick and precise movement, they can simply.........devour.  With their characteristic quietness, you have no time to fear.  They blend into the landscape and are upon you before you sense that you are being hunted.   They are not given to making a chase that can not be won.  There is no wasted effort.  They seek, they stalk, they pounce, they claim victory or else.......they do not play.

Give me a large cat any day over the most viscious of dogs.

( no disrespect intended to my dog )

I would probably have to say the liger
Side note - I just found out that some scientists actually breeded a liger and it took all the good traits from each species, so it was like a Super Cat.
