Gaming PC vs gaming consoles. Which one do you prefer?
I wasn't sure about what to get, a powerful PC with a good video card, or a PS3. I went for the PC for two reasons: 1) I needed a new PC anyways, 2) Mouse and keyboard beats a controller any day!
What would you choose?
I can't really say. Consoles have almost no lag offline, but computers tend to have a larger collection of games, not to mention very fun games.
Well, if you're just out to play games, consoles are better since they're specifically designed for it. But PC are still far more flexible... That's my say...
i prefer my laptop, because the games i play are long and need careful dedication that other wise bores anyone else watching it, so i can be out of the way with my laptop and not disturb anyone else and they don't need to disturb me
I prefer a computer for small and low-powered games and consoles for higher power, higher graphic games.
Love my X-box - can hook it up to the big screen and play large!
I prefer consoles because u can do more things like play more games for free or bay game.and your games can not be lost on your hard drive.and you can bay a keyboard for the ps3.
I would choose console for every game genre except rts like starcraft 2 or an rpg like diablo. Consoles unlike PCs dont require you to spend hundreds updating for games. For example when Battlefield 3 comes out how much do you think the average PC gamer is going to have to spend in order to play that game with even decent graphics? You also cant play co-op easily on a PC.
ok for all u people out there and to answer your question , pc will always be better than a console and here is y -
1) a pc will always have better hardware than compared to a console meaning better graphics , u can compare it if u wanna ........ that why games are made for the console n then ported for the pc n not the other way around as if they make games on the level of the pc then consoles wont be able to play any game as we all know or for those who dont the ps3 or xbox locks every game at 30 fps n withdx9 draphics n not everygame on the full graphics and that is why games like crysis1 and crysis warhead never came to the console first as it cant handle it , i think 1 still hasnt come ....... and in one of the comments i saw that 1 guy said i hook up my xbox to a big screen n play , well ur xbox can only go to a 1080p resolution that is 1920x1080 but the pc can go upto 5040x1050 on ifinity and on a single monitor its 2560x1600 .....
2) pc multiplayer n support from the developers is just better
3) we can hook a controler to a pc n play can u hook a keyboard n a mouse to a console n play?
4) pc is simply better , no offence but only those people buy a console over a pc who are low on cash or have no idea about how a gaming rig works!

I would always prefer my PC against any console though I want a more wide view how you enjoy gaming, list some reasons with your console of choice and if a PC setup list some specs none the less do mention why that way is a better gaming experience for you.

Do you prefer to game on PC or Console, why?I recently wrote a hub about this and most of my feedback is only from other PC players. I'm interested in hearing both sides, without any arguments ensuing over which is better. I just want to hear preferences and reasoning for them.
