Is Hubpages.com a good start into Journalism?

I may potentially look into journalism as a major as well as a potential career field. Do you think hubpages is a good start?

I think Hubpages is a great way to practice your writing skills, get your writing seen and to receive feedback from other people. So yes I'd say it would be a good start smile

Yep! Not only can you make a name for yourself in the writing world, you can see what people think about your writing, instead of having a teacher or professor grade it. In the end, the readers are the judges, and you can get multiple perspectives on hubpages. You can also figure out your individual writing style and quirks, instead of waiting until college or whatever. Basically, when you get into the field professionally, you will hit the ground running.

Great answer from both of you guys! I'm trying to write more and more to get myself used to it especially if I do end up going into journalism.
