What is the persentage that you use when tipping at a restaurant?
Almost always 20%
About 25% if they were really good.
Maybe 10% if they were rude or really inattentive.
Really? Up to 25 percent? I've always heard of 15 percent.
I usually do around 20%. I have tipped as low as 5% for extremely poor service and as high as 50% for exceptional service.
it depends on the quality of service. if the service is excellent i will spend 25 or 30 % but if it is bad i might not give anything or maybe 5 %
Depends which country you are in.
I feel very put out that it is virtually mandatory to tip in America when the service is beyond poor at times.
In the UK, I always tip 10% if the service has been of what I consider a reasonable standard. I will double to treble it for service that has really made my experience at their restaurant.
If service is substandard then I will not tip at all. I have worked in the industry as an assistant restaurant manager and my standards are very high, but I'm also sympathetic to the hours and hard work put in by GOOD WAITERS.
Usually 15%, although if they are really good it could be 20%+. If they are lousy I still give them at least 10%. Service work sucks.

I recently read that the new norm for tipping should be 25% instead of 20%, what do you think?Do you think tipping 25% of your bill is excessive, or reasonable? Does it depend on the situation?
