    Jerusalem....As an historian I would like to experience the multiple cultures and places that make up the Middle East and Jerusalem is the center of all that history.

    One place that I would like to visit before I die would be China.  One of my college friends works as an English teacher in Wuhan, China and I love reading all of her stories about it.  Plus since it's developing so quickly it would be nice to familiarize myself with a culture that will greatly influence the rest of the world.

    Tuscany. I've only seen pictures but the countryside is so beautiful and romantic...and I adore Italian food.

    I would like to go out to the western U.S.   I'd love to ride a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, drive on the Pacific Coast Highway, tour Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Arches national parks, and see the desert in Arizona.
