How do you keep the romance alive?

me and my boyfriend have been living together for almost a year and it seems like when I was out of work me and him were more exciting now that im working it seems like I see less of him. all we do is sleep and on my days off we dont do anything but stay home and chill with friends. I dont want to lose the love the happiness the need for one of another. how do we keep the fire burning?

Look into life through a more holistic lens. Holisticity dictates that your present situation is as follows:

"my boyfriend and I do not see each other often, therefore the love is dwindling between us."

The holistic way of thinking via Holisticity™  is:

"My boyfriend and I are engaged in timeshare arrangements whilst still nurturing our social networks via our strong love for one another. This facet of oyr multi-faceted existance therefore enables me to feel a growing sense of holistic love which can be reverberated between us."

surprises. little surprises that change everyday things. perhaps eating at a park or wearing something different. instead of sitting around go to an open air theater. if he is sitting around doing nothing, tackle him and playfight.

I agree with nightwork4. Give him some surprises. Put some love notes inside his pocket or put it on the kitchen counter. Stay sweet and romantic to him. Intimacy is essential to keep the fire burning.

I learned it's a two way street, if both dont commit its all down hill. My number suggestion is to take the time to let your partner know how much you appreciate them. Then romance will soon follow.

The secret is to make the time you have together very valuable and the time should be spent growing your intamacy.  Once your intamacy reaches a high level you will be insync and the time you spend away will only make your romance stronger.  Focus on getting to know what your boyfriend likes and dislikes, his wants and desires.  He must also do the same!  Once you both identify and recognize what makes each other happy you can begin making your time together amazing.  You will notice your energy and vibe is unstoppable.

If this is not the case after attempting keep the romance going then on to the next.  The relationship may have just run its course.
