Does coffee cause burdens to women's labor?
I love drinking coffee every morning, me and my officemates do drink coffee so often. But, one day she told me that coffee can cause burdens to women's labor! IS IT TRUE???
I'm a coffee lover from way back, but when I was pregnant - both times - I couldn't stand even the smell of coffee! So I didn't find out if it helped or hurt my labor, but I had very easy labors both times.
My sister is on her second child and still drinks coffee. My niece is in perfect health. I wouldn't exactly down a pot a day but I don't see why a cup a day would do harm.
I have never heard about it causing problems with labor, but I have heard that caffeine is not good for unborn children. I would ask a doctor. Check out this link for a study about it. http://www.marchofdimes.com/pregnancy/g … steps.html
Coffee contains a large amount of caffeine which is not good for full grown adults and especially not good for the fetus so whether it affects labor or not i have no clue but if you are pregnant then you should cut caffeine altogether
