    How safe is this website?

    Do you feel it is safe to sell on craigslist?
    And what is the safest way to get paid in your opinion

    Craigslist is designed to do face to face transactions. As a seller, I'd only accept cash or cashier check to avoid having any problems with getting paid.

    If safety is a major concern you are better off selling your items through Amazon or eBay with the use of a Paypal account to get paid.

    Sure you will have to deal with shipping the item but at least you don't have to risk putting yourself in a dangerous situation by having a stranger come to your home or you going to theirs. As cubesz stated if you do decide to go with craigslist use "common sense".

    yeah just don't do money transfers or anything of that nature.  I think cash or cashiers check is the best way.
