   What are some good Veggitables to grow for a non gardener?
   
   I have killed dozens or plants and herbs but would really like to try againa nd grow a small garden.  Any advise?

   grow something you like, as you're more likely to take care of it!
   
   some easy veggies to grow are radish and salads, which are nice and quick
   
   potatoes are also quite easy if you don't mind a bit of digging
   
   you could make life easier for yourself if you buy seedlings, partly grown plants or onion sets from your local nursery, cutting out some of the hard work and getting quicker results
   
   if you are determined to make a success of it I am sure you will do ok - good luck!

   Hi Sam,
   
   I've always found that no matter how hard I try, I cannot kill zucchini or corn.  Tomatoes are pretty hardy if you grow several caged plants close enough together to maintain moisture for their roots.  Green beans also usually escape my terror on my garden (I never had any time to weed and watering was occasional...when I'd think of it every few days). 
   
   I gave up on having a garden years ago anyway cuz of the moles and gophers we have here chewing the roots off and singlehandedly killing my plants overnight.  I don't kill ANY animals (except for mercy on suffering critters), so I just let them eat and didn't end up with much left that very last year I tried.  I'd like to have a "bucket" garden, but again, no time for such leisurely activities at this point.

   Tomatoes are easy to grow, even on your patio or deck.  Simply buy the plant and a container with earth.

   I agree with tomatoes and beans, as well as radishes to start with.
   They are very hardy, as long as they get plenty of sunshine, good
   soil and water. Cherry tomatoes are pretty easy for beginners.
   These can be grown in containers or in the ground.

   Try some mixed salad greens.  They are very easy to grow in a window box.  Just provide a sunny location and water every couple of days and in just a matter of weeks you'll be able to harvest what you need for salad.  I find that if you cut the greens off (instead of pulling them out by the roots) and leave a few small leaves at the base of the plants, new leaves will grow for a second harvest.  Good luck.

   I started gardening 2 years ago as a complete novice. I was so bad I had killed 3 cacti (apparently unheard off). But 2 years ago I was determined to try and grow my own fruit and veg to cut down on food bills. I started a container garden because my garden is all concrete, but actually found this a really easy and manageable way to grow plants.
   
   In my first year I successfully grew courgette (zucchini) and spring onions. I also bought 4 dwarf fruit trees, which do need a little more attention but still quite easy.
