Why moving to another country?
What would motivate you to leave your country? For what reason would you decide to live somewhere else?
I think about giving up my American citizenship and moving to another country all the time. I think about this because American has become a very evil country...incarcerating 1 out of every 100 citizens, taxing us to death, turning the country into a police state. It worries me for my son and for his children.
I love France. I visit often and lived there as a young adult for a year. Now, I hope that my husband and I can live in the Languedoc region for a while before we get to old.
I love the US. But I love seeing other places, meeting new people and learning other perspectives. It's always eye-opening to watch the news from another country.
It's great to learn new languages, feel history immediately, and just savor new foods!
When you move, i guess you are trying to find a better life elsewhere. Better standard of living for the same amount that you currently have, less taxes, more job opportunities, more freedom of religion, better education for your children...There are just soo many reasons
We packed up and moved our family for a great job opportunity from the United States to Mexico. Since they are connecting countries, it is very easy to visit my family back home or have them fly down for a little getaway vacation. The world is simply too great to stay in one place forever. I always tell people, I came for the job but I stayed for the food .
My parents moved us from Wales to New Zealand by ship when I was 5 for a better life. After living all over NZ my husband & I moved to Australia , lived in Wales for a couple of years & my girls got to see how diferent my life would have been if we had stayed .
Australia / NZ are great places to live , it is free to have a child in hospital, be flown in a helicopter in emergency situations etc. Open spaces , great beaches ,free camping !
It is good to explore and try other countries , We are hoping to visit Europe & USA next year as I have seen some of it but Neville hasn't yet ( He has been to China & Thailand with his son)
I have moved somewhere else, Brazil.
My husband and I wanted a change of lifestyle. A big part was just what Brie Hoffman has said about America. England was the same.
I think a person should never be afraid to move, go and enjoy a different culture.
The world is so full of interesting places, people and cultures. You HAVE to discover some of these for yourself. I don't think it is just a matter of finding a better life, although that is always at the back of my mind. Moving to a different country is an adventure, part of the spice of life, something inside that needs to be satisfied.
I have lived in Europe and the Middle East and I can assure you that you will not find a country that offers more personal freedom or greater protection of your personal rights than America. I have seen many wonderful places on this planet, but I've not seen one that compares to this one. Good luck in your decision.
I had no choice read my Huds to find out why.

Have you ever lived in another country (other than your current residence)?I lived abroad in Egypt and found that it has truly changed my life. My mind of more open to other cultures, I see people as just people versus a culture or race (even more so) and I am more independent. I also have found...

I have hubs within a couple of niches which I don't cover all that much; meaning, I don't have that many hubs in those niches. A good number of those hubs have a high bounce rate. So, I'm considering unpublishing those, putting them somewhere else. However, some of them get a good amount of traffic...

What is wrong with asking the American people before we strike another country? What is wrong with asking the representatives of the American people before we take action against another country? We just spent a decade in a war we were misled into. Is this not a more democratic approach...
