What is the weather like where you are ?

We are coming into the wet season up the top of Australia where we could be cut off for ages by flooding , There will be a lot of beautiful waterfalls appearing & it is quite windy at the moment . I can watch the rain from in our caravan on the lake .How about where you are ?

It is finally cooling off here in South Texas. We had a brutal summer with like three months without rain. Our local lake is almost dried up.  I don't know how it will ever rain enough to fill it up again but hopefully somehow it will happen.  It is 67 degrees here right now smile

It's warm and sunny in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, with a cool breeze.  I'd love to see Australia, though!

I live is South Wales, UK, what can I say? lol. It is well into autumn and the weather is very changeable. We can have relentless rain for days, sometimes weeks, and then the sun comes out, awesome smile

This time last week it was wet and miserable, for over a week, then on Wednesday, when my daughter got married, the sun shone and the weather was beautiful. The temperature reached just over 20 degrees, which is very unusual for this time of year.

When my daughter first announced her wedding date last year, we weren't sure if it would snow on that day. October is very early for snow here, but it has happened in the past. Each year is different, you never know what to expect and when.

In the UK we have 'day light saving time', which means that the clocks go forward an hour in the spring, and back an hour to GMT in the autumn. We've been used to long summer days, even if not the best weather, when it doesn't get dark till quite late at night. The clocks went back last night to GMT, now it get's dark early,  which will be even earlier as the winter months draw in.

I'm not a fan of the dark, cold winter months, with short days and long nights. I like   BST (British Summer Time), with it's long days and warmer weather. The only good thing about the winter, is that summer is coming lol.

I'm in North East Texas where we have some horrific Summers - but where this time of the year you can get by without a jacket most days, and even without heat this month - so long as you've got decent blankets.

It's maybe fifty degrees outside - but it's close to midnight here, and we're still technically in a drought, and probably will be for a while.  There's lots of catching up to have happen so far as rainfall is concerned.

The weather today is cold with snow on the ground in the NE United States.  We just had an unually strom and bad early snowstorm that took down a lot of trees, branches and power lines.  It is still the middle of the fall season, but we had a bad winter storm.

At the moment it's a typical Scottish October night - windy and chilly! We also had loads of rain earlier - surprise surprise! But at the moment, black clouds are racing across the moon, the wind is blowing - setting the scene for a nice Halloween night! LOL!
