Do you know anyone who has actually made a success from Blogging?

I have read so many articles on people who earn hundreds of dollars each week from their blog, but how true are these stories? There are loads of scams about but can you really give up the day job from creating your own website? If so, how, and who are you??

    In short...it is possible.

Its not as easy as most people lead on though. Its not a case of quit your job, and start blogging instead. Really you need to be an active blogger and start earning before you even think about quitting your day job.
Income can be through a wide range of methods, but it is typically through Adsense (if your blog gets thousands of hits) or through product referral schemes. Both methods rely on your blog having a good amount of traffic...and that doesn't come overnight.

If you are interested in doing it, then I would suggest starting your own website/blog and seeing how you get on. The main hurdle is attracting 1000s of visitors to the site. I would not quit your day job before you are earning a decent income from it, and you have the confidence you could do it full time.

I know a lot of people who make good money with websites, blogs and affiliate marketing, but most will tell you that it took several years to get to the point of being able to give up their day jobs. It is definitely not quick or easy, so any ads or websites that tell you it is are lying.

The trick is find the honest ones amongst all the liars. Here are a few hubbers well worth following if you're serious about earning online - some of whom have hubs/websites/blogs explaining the tricks of the trade.

Also consider buying a few books. Something like SEO for Dummies is a good starting point.

These type of posts doing two tasks at the same time, first promoting their own blog and second earning the money by promoting their blog...

So write some interesting on any topic will definitely give you lot of traffic.
