Sharpe sudden pain
Have you ever had a sudden sharpe pain somewhere in your body especially the heart or head?is it a warning sign or do you just ignore it as a cramp?
I ignored it until one day I felt something wasn't right....got it checked out....ended up with quadruple bypass. Don't ignore it!!!
Yes. I do encounter it once every few months. I have yet to go for checkup as I felt that it was just a cramp on my chest.
Now I am doing most exercise of Qi energy for healing the pain. It is already 6 months now and everything seems fine.
For your case, you may want to consult doctor to see what is going on. Unless you want to practise Qi gong that will help the flow of energy around your body to do some healing.
My husband was not blessed with a sign. He took care of himself very well and visited doctors often but there was no clue given about his heart until after he died.
There is no harm in checking everything. All you lose is time and money, your life is worth so much more to those you leave behind.
could be a stroke...or could be migraine...or something uneventful from the past suddenly pops up...
Sudden sharp pain can be distressing but non threatning like a muscle cramp or tension headache. But it could be a warning of serious problems like heart attack or ulcer. If it persists for more than a few minutes or is accompanied by other symptoms or if the pain comes back often check your self out medically.
You don't get cramp in your heart or brain, strokes are pretty much brain attacks hence as in heart attack. Most pains can be ignored. The brain doesn't feel pain but pressure will be felt from simply dehydration to lets say a tumour was developing, a sign of stroke is very much when talking starts to sound incoherent, go to A & E quickly. Many pressures can happen around the heart that gives a sensation of heart problems, the main thing to watch out for involving your heart is simply out of breathlessness, plenty of warning there.
All simple stuff that we know about our body much earlier than the medics will know, im certainly no expert but I have a condition - Sarcoidosis - brain, heart, bone and pretty much any scan going, iv learnt I know my body very well.
As mentioned earlier, most things can be ignored, if you don't feel 'OK' seek help...
As for that person correcting the word sharpe to sharp, my youngest suffers from dyslexia, you must think before you type and comment, not a very helpful comment at all, stick to your dogs.
Sometimes you can have a sharp pain in your chest that can be muscular, but seems as though it is coming from your heart. I see a cardiologist regularly for a heart condition, and I had asked this same question. I had recently started running again and had been experiencing sharp chest pains. She said that the pains were from my body getting back into shape again and not related to my heart. That being said, whenever you are having chest pains, you should be examined by a physician. She ran tests on me to be sure my heart was functioning properly. It's better to be safe than sorry.
