What is the future of America? Does is lie in lassez-fair?

What do you think about pervasive corporatism and a marginalistic economy? How could these directives be changed by the American citizen and small business owners of America?

America had traditionally worked on the principle of oligopoly. Big corporates always dominated the American markets. But this is not always true. For example in the retail trade, giants like Walmart are able to capture only 10% of the market share whereas medium and small businesses are able to have their sway over the American people. Small business owners should not worry about the giants and should focus on quality. Automatically people will come towards them.

Future of America is bright. It is the only superpower. It has the number one technology in the world. It has very strong military. America can dictate to any country and get it done. Most of the countries want to be in the good books of USA. These are all real strengths of America.

But the weakness is that young people are increasingly resorting to drugs. Family system is weakening day by day. Borrowing through credit card and other sources is increasing among individuals. There is virtually no saving among the Americans (except among immigrants from India and China). School girls are getting pregnant more and more. There is a degeneration in values in society.

America in itself has become a corporation and the lower-class it' peons; Middle-class its management.;Upper-class its lairds. My distaste may resound chaotically. Agrestic and holistic community; revive the Renaissance and dethrone the Empire.

The question was about changing America not putting the same rigmarole on a pedestal just so the simple man can focus on his mortgage and get cope with "reality".

Revolutions and the rise of another power were the only solutions to endemic problems of that proportion. History is the testimony.

Stop the corporate mergers! It's getting to where 2 or 3 groups own EVERYTHING in the whole world.
Laizze-Faire destroyed us, we do not need anything like it ever again.
These business/banking people have proven they have no loyalty to anything but the bottom line.
Small business?? I just saw a story--man was crying. His family owned a Dr Pepper plant for 150 years....got bought out by a big corp...he could not withstand their vulturism.
Same as happened with the family farm. 6 conglomerates own ALL of media...in a world of 7 billion people.
    Nah...no more laizze-faire.
