Name 5 children's books that are still relevant and interesting.
A classic is a book that is considered timeless. Can you think of 5 books that still feel applicable for kids today?
They are more than five actually, but I'll start with:
'Journey to the Center of the Earth', 'Captain Nemo' by Jules Verne;
'David Copperfield', 'Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens;
'Winnetou' by Carl May;
and many others. Personally, I prefer Verne as fantast and amazing writer, but there are so many good authors of books for children like Lewiss Carroll, Selma Lagerlöf, A.Alexander Milne, Rafael Sabbatini, Gianni Rodari especially..., Mark Twain.
Thank you for that question, it somehow brought me to childhood.
Well, if we're talking books for very young children from the 20th century, I'd go with (in no particular order):
The Hungry Caterpillar
Love You Forever
Where The Wild Things Are
The Giving Tree
Goodnight Moon
There's quite a few more that could be included, the list would be entirely different for another age group, of course.
There are many many children's books out there! The ones that come to mind are anything by Shel Silverstein, Roald Dahl, Dr. Seuss, Judy Blume, Jules Verne, Jack London, Louisa May Alcott and any of the classics like Tom Sawyer, Huckelberry Finn, Gulliver's Travels, etc.
maybe i can add 5 children book from indonesia:
> The Naughty Deer
> The Golden Cucumber
> Malinkundang, the seditious child
> Jaka Seger and Rara Anteng
> Roro Jonggrang
maybe its unfamiliar to y'all but its so famous in my country
just for sharing
There are so many, it's hard to choose 5, but here are some thoughts:
The Cat in the Hat
Green Eggs and Ham
Little House on the Prairie series
Amelia Bedilia
Winnie the Pooh, by AA Milne
I love the way Dr. Suess wrote books with simple words for beginning readers that held their attention. We use Green Eggs and Ham when my 5 year old says she doesn't like something before she tries it. Little House is always a classic. We love to laugh at Amelia Bedelia's antics, and Winnie the Pooh and his friends will never get old.
Little childrens's stories:
The Empty Pot , The Little Engine That Could, The 3 Little Pigs, The Ugly Duckling, The Giving Tree, Goodnight Moon, Beauty and the Beast, Velveteen Rabbit, Dr. Seuss, Beatrix Potter
Children's books:
Winnie the Pooh, Charlotte's Web, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Wind in the Willows, Little Women, Swiss Family Robinson . .
The Jungle book
Little Women
20 thousand leagues under the sea
Alice In Wonderland
Kidnapped

I felt like this weekend's US Open I was watching a renewed game where there is intrigue and interest without Tiger.One young talented and seemingly nice guy that plays at the highest level is very refreshing. Looking forward to seeing Rory play next.

What methods do you use to ensure that your old, still relevant hubs continue to get views?

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go." - Dr Seuss (Oh, The Places You'll Go!) What does this quote say to you?...

Just picked up a copy of People and Jackie is on the front! Why is she still relevant? What makes a celebrity "evergreen" like our hubs? Who will be "evergreen" 50 years from now?

hi any help about this issue is highly appreciated. I was asking if one can still profit from buying and selling domain names. Is it dead or still alive. Would love to hear from you as i have two domain names sciencegurus.com and computericons.net that are for sale.
