If you want some one-on-one with an internet marketing mentor, you may be paying in the thousands because you're taking up time to do one on one.
However, you can find mentors who are cheaper or offer a course. The problem may not be what you're learning but who you're learning from.

SEO is one of those things you don't want to rush. Learn that well and you should be good to go.
SEO is easy with a few simple trainings to guide you through it. I recommend doing it yourself and saving 1000's of dollars. It is easier than you think.

Yes, you can do SEO yourself but it takes time to learn the skill. Also, if you don't have the proper tools you can give yourself a load of needless extra work.
A SEO expert has invested time and money into cutting edge software, and has tested strategies that work in website promotion. It is there business to stay on top of the ever changing scene of search engine marketing.
I would advice, if you plan to do SEO yourself and save money, to use various gigs on fiverr.com. There are many awesome effective services that can boost your website's rank and traffic for only five dollars. You can't go wrong there!
