What is the best subject to write about?
What are people most interested in reading?
Write what comes from your heart. Write what interests you. Hubpages is a community of writers, and you will find friends and mentors who enjoy writing and reading the same topics that you do.
You never know who you will touch with your craft. If you make one person smile, or learn something they find useful, you are successful.
If you find that you have writer's block, just stop thinking about it and do something different for a while. It never hurts to ask others what they would like to learn about, either. I like topics regarding inspiration, health and productivity, animals, history and genealogy. Others will like to read about sports or politics. The most important topic to write about is the one YOU want to learn about and read.
Good luck ~
Margie
Choose to write on your area/s of expertise. If you research online on the most popular topic and write a hub about it, it may not attract visitors because it is a rehash of what is already available. The most popular hubs are the ones which have something unique to offer. Hubpages is a vast community and here you will find hubbers of varied interests. There is no such topic as the most popular topic. You can see this for yourself by visiting Best and Hot Hubs.
I think the best thing to write about is something you're passionate about, you have knowledge about and something people want to read because ultimately we write to be read, right?

I'm speaking mainly on your HubPages account, but also any side (or main) blogs. Do you think it hurts or helps your Hubs to have a diverse group of articles or is it better if it's all about one thing?
