How would you rate my hubs on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the best and 10 the worst?
Please be honest, I cant improve if I don't know what you the reader expect from me.I know I'm going out on a limb here, but I just want to be a good writer, and make people happy and want to come back and read more of my work and let them in on some of the things I have learned, as I walked down the many paths in my life time.
To be completely honest, I would rate your hubs around a 4-5. Your picture are really large and it is a little distracting especially since you do not have that much writing. It is not completely bad but some of your hubs could use a little more research. Take the diet one for example, I did not find anything useful out of it. You simply said be discipline, start a diet, and go talk to a doctor. You could recommend some sort of food groups, maybe review a diet or link to an article about specific diets. I don't know, it just feel like I did not get anything out of that articles. I only scan through a couple of articles, so my judgement could be wrong. If it is not visually pretty, I don't normally read it. That is where I would recommend you start first because more people scan an article before they read the content.
Thanks avan989 I appreciate your honesty and I'll try to improve my Hubs with more research.
Well, I considered not commenting because there really is not much benefit for me to be critical of someone's work that I don't even know. But, I thought that I would give you an honest assessment. I looked over your Yorkie hub and I would give it a 3/10. It started out pretty good with the history of the breed. I think that you need to provide more of that type of information. The first paragraph was too long, and it had a lot of grammar errors. I would break that into two paragraphs.
Then instead of switching topics completely to Yorkie care, you should stick with the history of Yorkies. I don't have a Yorkie, so I don't want to know about their grooming. I would read about their history in dog shows, what led to their popularity, what breed did they displace as a rat catcher, what kind of health problems do they have, etc. You can have another hub about the grooming of Yorkies for people that actually own Yorkies.
I tend to stay away from the huge pictures, but that is your judgement. If you like it, then go for it.
Thanks for your honesty michiganman567y I never gave a thought to the larger pictures.

As a christians is it wrong to be blunt and direct when commenting on Hubs or any other time?I have no problems being blunt and direct when making my comments on Hubs. There may be some who consider it rude. So if this is true, when Jesus Christ called Scribes and Priests "vipers", was he...

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate the job President Obama is doing? When i consider what was on his plate when he sat at the table i would have to give President Obama a solid 7. Even though there are things I think he could be doing better I don't consider him to be a failure at the job....

I have hubs within a couple of niches which I don't cover all that much; meaning, I don't have that many hubs in those niches. A good number of those hubs have a high bounce rate. So, I'm considering unpublishing those, putting them somewhere else. However, some of them get a good amount of traffic...
