Do you feel it is a good idea to put floride in our water?
why and why not?
Fluoride in water supply is slow poison and we should not put fluoride in our drinking water.
Yes because the amount they put in the water is miniscule (it will not harm you) and it helps with teeth development. I live in an area where they don't do this so I have to give my children vitamins with fluoride so they get the benefits they need. It would be so much easier if it was in the water I'm already paying for.
Fluoride is shipped from China. They mark it as poison that should NEVER be ingested by humans, animals or plants. Does this answer your question?
Its also been scientifically proven to make teeth weaker and cause more cavities. Its a chemical that can not be digested by the human body so it is stored. Enough of this crap in the human body will cause clots, tumors and cancer. A little bit in drinking water adds up over the years.
is a contribution to miscarriage, causes terrible migraines to certain people, bad for pets ! Just bad that some areas are forced to have it in their drinking water.
Conspiracy theories and efficacy questions aside, flouride is proven to be dangerous to people with certain thyroid conditions. Some individuals are advised to avoid flouridated water. Since it's easier to add flouride than remove it, it makes more sense to subsidize supplements for those who want them than to supplement the water supply.
If we are going to add flouride to the water supply, we should also make arrangements for those who wish to opt out for any reason, to be provided with a safe flouride free source of drinking water.
I just go by what I've learned in various science and Bio classes. I think it is not a good idea as long as many people don't understand all the sources of fluoride and take this into account. A little here and there does build up in our bodies. Many people don't know that fluoride is in many vitamins and supplements and not listed as an ingredient. Most people know it is in water and toothpaste. While the ingestion of toothpaste is the most likely cause these days of fluoride toxicity, it is possible for some people to have ill health effects due to a long term combination of sources such as those who take large amounts of vitamins and supplements daily in combination with fluoridated water.
Oops. Sorry, I spelled the word incorrectly in the question. I meant to say "fluoride" as what is in toothpaste.
For the record, I don't believe in putting fluoride in drinking water either. I'm glad a few others are in concurrence.

Would you rather have drinking water without fluoride? We don't swallow the fluoride when we get a treatment at the dentist. Why should it be in drinking water? Is cavity protection worth the known health risks to fluoride, which some consider an industrial waste product?

What negative effects can not drinking water daily have on the human body?We all know that drinking water can have positive effects on the human body... but what about those who never drink water and drink mostly things like juice and soda pop daily? What are the short term and long term...
