Daffodils!
I have been impatiently waiting for a couple of weeks now for the 100 bulbs that I planted in the Autumn to open up their glorious yellow blooms to me. This morning one has started to open near the patio door and now know that Spring has finally sprung! The days will get longer and the air warmer. Daffodils never fail to put a smile on my face
I love Spring and I adore snowdrops but they flower too early to be a true Spring flower so I'm going to chose primrose as my favorite Spring plant. Here are three facts about primroses that you might find interesting to know.
1. You can eat the flowers and leaves.
2. The name means first rose.
3. The primrose was Benjamin Disraeli's favourite flower.

There are so many wonderful flowers that bloom in Spring. I would say that ranunculus is my favorite, especially when interplanted with Iceland Poppies!
I would have to say The irs is one of my favorite spring time flowers. There are lots of color in them from blues to purple, from white to yellows. They look so prim and proper, singled out in a group of there own. They stand tall, yet peak with color in the gental spring wind.
Thanks
