What are differences or similarities you've noticed between your beginning hubs & your current hubs?
Now I try to add more things like pictures and videos, where as before I kind of just quick wrote something, added one or two pictures, and called it good. I try to do more research and add as much stuff as possible about the topic to make it more interesting. And it's also funner for me because I get to research it and find out all these new cool things.
Those are some of the same things that I find myself doing now vs when I first began. I still have not added videos yet...but any day now! My hubs are also longer. Thanks urgurl_bri for your response.
My first Hubs were fairly short, since I was just coming off of a gig writing short album reviews for an e-zine (which has since closed up shop), so writing that way was simply force of habit.
Since I wasn't hip to adding videos, photos or any other "special effects" they looked very plain as well.
Over time I've gotten better at going into more detail (though hopefully not so much that I appear long-winded) so my Hubs are longer and, I hope, more entertaining!

Has anyone else noticed ads coming across hubs when trying to read others' hubs?I noticed more than once while reading others' hubs that ads are placed right on top of the writer's words in their hub. I could not even read what was written due to the ad over the words. They seem to be some...

This is what I have observed with my hubscore. After publishing a hub and leaving comments on other hubs, I get lots of traffic but the hubscore falls by the hour. When I stay away from HubPages for a few days, and the traffic drops to nothing, the hubscore starts to climb and reaches an all-time...
