Where Do We Go After We Die?

I know this question presumes that we do indeed go somewhere, which may in fact not be the case. I also know this question can only be definitively answered by someone who has experienced death and (if there was something beyond death) - came back to tell us about it, but what are your theories? Do we just cease to exist in your view?

I have experienced life after death and did write about it recently. When we leave there is another place but we are only spirits moving to another plain. I am thankful I am here to write about it and I am thankful that I was blessed that God gave me the memory of it. If you wish to read about it, here it is. http://aevans.hubpages.com/hub/IsThereR … eAfterLife

This is why believe in God and I know there is another place. People can beat me down about my belief, I really don't care. What I have seen and know is something between me and God. We do not cease to exist, but what I can say is, " we are only passing through." When God calls me home I know where I am going.

We go to either Heaven or Hell.  Which place depends upon the choices we make during our lifetime.  We must believe in and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. As we grow spiritually, we learn more about (by studying the Bible) Jesus and we stop sinning as we are instructed.  We also do those things that please him because our love for him grows as does our love for fellow man.  It is not his desire that any should go to Hell, but he will not force his will upon us.

Nowhere is the Biblical response, though many say we go to heaven and some create a place called hell, but Biblically the words are simple, 'The dead are concious of nothing at all.' and if the dead go elsewhere why did Jesus resurrect Lazarus, indeed Jesus told the mourners, 'He is only sleeping.' So when I die I hope and pray I will recieve a resurrection here on a restored planet Earth.
