I think there is a reason for everything, otherwise what would be the point.

I firmly believe in this. As i have always learned through my experiences that at one time a thing which didn't seem right to me turned out to be good in the long run. This has made my belief more stronger that everything happens for a reason and now whenever a good or bad thing comes my way,and it works or doesn't .whatever the result is i at least happily accept the fact that there must have been a reason behind it.So it is always better to go with the flow of things and i always do that too now!!!

Definitely.  And my experience is that when we begin to see the way the life works and begin to realize that there is meaning in most events, our lives become less rote and more exciting and mystical.  We have to listen to hear the music.  I went through the first half of my life deaf.

things of significance happen for a reason...minor 'items of life' happen because of the course of the day...

Absolutely; however, that particular reason may not have been discerned by us (until later, even perhaps after death)...

Well, the way I've occasionally heard this phrase used is in terms of 'don't question,' or 'there is a reason for everything that happens.'
No, I don't believe that at all.

However, if you mean general cause-and-effect, then yes, that's logical.
