    What do you prefer ?

If God appeared in front of you and gave you two choices.Wealth or knowledge? What would you choose?

    Knowledge is power.

    Knowledge can gain you money,

Money don't make you clever or wise.

I'd choose wealth. I already have enough knowledge to know what to do with it.

Well, this is a hypothetical question, because that isn't an either or question and God would not tempt us with that kind of choice. In fact, He said "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

That "abundantly" part is something only a believer can understand. While God may bless us with wealth, abundance is not always measured in dollars - euros - or whatever currency one might use.

However, if I had that choice I think I would choose knowledge as wealth without knowledge would be useless, but knowledge without wealth would allow me to figure out how to live without wealth.

I would LOVE to have all the knowledge in the world but to be honest, you can have WAY more fun with wealth smile

    Knowledge.
With knowledge, comes wealth. Materialistic, and otherwise.

Neither. I want wisdom and understanding. The Bible specifically tells us to pray for wisdom and understanding. Knowledge was taken from Eden in direct violation of God's command to Adam and Eve. God did not give us knowledge, that was Satan's doing. You may notice that knowledge has gotten us into plenty of trouble. Knowledge is used to wage war, to destroy our planet, and will eventually be used to destroy ourselves. Knowledge without wisdom and understanding is destructive. Wealth is completely worthless to God and His desires for us. It can't buy happiness, life, or love. I suppose it can make misery more tolerable, but on our death bed, what good would it be?

Knowledge is but the messenger that calls you to wisdom, but it is not wisdom.  One can gain knowledge, but one does not seek wisdom - one meets it when one often least expects it and recognizes it as kindred.  Knowledge puts us in the way of wisdom, but wisdom is experiential; it is a truth one recognizes in the external world that already resides in the internal one.
