Fortunately I've never had any 'worst' jobs. I have however worked with some 'worst' people!
As a teenager, I worked in a drug store.
In college I washed dishes and worked on the school paper.
After college I worked for three small dailies for short time frames then one paper for 13 years and finally my last job for 22 years.
I would have to say the second newspaper I worked for was the worse job. It was a one-man newsroom (me) part-time sports editor, woman's editor and an assistant. The publisher was overly demanding, the time demands were grueling and the work was not appreciated. I was doing the work I had studied how to do in college, but being young, I did still need some guidance to separate what they teach in the classroom from the reality of running a small town newspaper. I did not get any guidance from the management, only complaints. It was not a great job.
This is a fun question. When I was a girl/teen, I worked for an employment agency. They would just send me on these random jobs, and I was silly enough to go.
Then one day I had to sort some dirty laundry which came off a boat. This was not known to me when I accepted the job. They had provided the transport that morning. So I was: stuck there the whole day, did not know exactly where I was, and could not escape.
Terrible at the time-but now I think it is quite funny.
Well, I would have to say the worse job I ever had was working at a chain steakhouse restaurant. I had to stand all day and just call out the number of what the person ordering wanted, which that part was not so bad, except for the nightmares of #1, Medium Well, etc., ---I just couldn't get those numbers out of my head. But the worse part was seeing the "behind the scenes" happenings at a restaurant - sickening, as people (the cooks and food preparers) would drop food on the nasty floor and then put it on a plate for someone to eat, and they did not even care!!! I would get so sweaty, my face broke out in terrible acne, which I never had a problem with before, and I never cared to eat at that steak restaurant, even when the employees could eat free. So we parted ways after my brief employment (thankfully) there. In His Love, Faith Reaper
(P.S. Love your new profile photo - mysterious and beautiful!!! )
Worked for a few months at a funeral home. Gave me the creeps. The owner was a very very strange man who seriously looked like something out of a horror movie. He had a huge beer can collection that lined a room adjacent to the office - both of which were in the basement of the Funeral Home.
I was supposed to be the office manager, but seriously, the last day I worked, he was going out and someone was delivering a body. He literally told me that I might have to help the guys move the body. I just told him no, absolutely not. He didn't argue the point because he knew it was strictly against OSHA Regs to even ask me to do that.
I did work at a certain fast food sandwich chain, which was pretty bad in itself. But while I was working there in my teens, they would occasionally have me dress up as a Giant Sub and participate in parades and certain sporting events.

What was the name of the worst book you've ever read? Some people point to Moon People. Others mention the numerous post-apocalyptic "Survivalist" tales. Either way, there are tons and tons bad books out there. What's your least favorite?

I think mine was about twenty years ago. On Christmas Eve I had a burst pipe upstairs that flooded the downstairs. We just got that sorted when both my TV and Christmas Tree lights packed in. On Christmas Day my oven bloody well packed in and we ended up having tinned food for Christmas Dinner,...

The worst day in my life was when I showed up to work and the doors were locked. There was a sign on the door letting us know that the business was no londer in business. None of us gathered there had any idea we would be out of a job when we got up that morning. I was supporting...
