What is your favorite bread recipe?

I make bread all the time, never buy it at the store so I'm always on the lookout for good bread recipes!

At one time I had made a mixed bread of white and wheat flour. Here is a recipe I've adapted from an online recipe I have seen.

2 cups of unbleached white and 2 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
    1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of lukewarm (not scalding) water or beer

Dissolve one teaspoon of yeast in one cup of water or beer and stir in the salt. Make a well in the flour and pour the yeast mixture into it. Knead for five minutes. Let the dough rise for an hour (a warm, but not hot radiator works wonders). Form the dough into a round loaf and prick it with a knife (this allows it to rise higher). Cover and let it rise until double in bulk than preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. (high temperatures create a harder crust and a softer middle). Before placing the dough into the oven, reduce the heat to 350 and bake until golden brown. Eat, enjoy and tell me how it tastes.

I made a beer bread today (and posted a hub on it) very similar to that!  It's a good one and I love it!  I've never tried it with wheat flour before though.  That sounds like it would be a great change.  Thanks so much!

These are bread-rolls. Preparation method is quite easy too. These tasty rolls are prepared by stuffing boiled and mashed potatoes with fresh pieces of breads and frying this stuff in hot mustard oil for almost 10 minutes. Though, using whole pieces of breads takes much time and effort both so these pieces are also mashed to prepare the recipe easily. Then, what we get is some bread flour mixed with boiled, mashed potatoes in which few spoons of salt and spices are added which result in making the recipe delicious and spicy. Now, some small ball-like rolls are made from this stuff and fried in hot mustard oil for 10 minutes. After frying, these crispy rolls are ready to get served and taste great when served with some tomato sauces and lemons.

I made a beer bread once - technically a 'quick bread' rather than a real bread. It was gooooood! Use a good beer you like to drink (ale, stout etc) and not just some cheap lager.

1 can or bottle beer (approx 330mL)
    3 cups flour
    3 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp salt

Mix altogether, then bake for an hour at 180C
