None, I feel that e-books rob the enjoyment from a physical book. Quite a bit is lost in translation, including artistic value.
I have bookmarked many in my wish list at Amazon. However I have purchased none as yet, although I have read a few. By that I mean I have gotten about a dozen 'Free' books from there and read those.
Not a single e-book to my knowledge. My first publication was my grandmother's manuscript, and it remained on the e-book list for four years, until I finally dropped it. So when I published my memoir, I decided not to sign up for Kindle or Nook or any of the others. I doubt if I have missed any sales as a result.
I have only recently bought a Kindle. Two weeks ago, in fact, and have since bought about twelve and downloaded as many free ones.
You are talking to the converted. I thought that as I have published an ebook I ought to show willing and have one ereader of my own, but I love the feel and smell of "real" books, but how much I have changed, Yes, I do like the printed copies, but I find that reading on a Kindle has made my reading much faster,
I am (or was) a notoriously slow reader and writer, but somehow I am increasing my reading speed amazingly.
i have the free kindle app on my computer and i have bought and read 6 or 8 books. i far prefer to read the physical book, but i am impatient and like the ability to order a book and read it now, not waiting for it to come in the mail. i have ordered many books from amazon though and never had a problem. in fact amazon is the only place i get my books from when ordering online.
I don't want to count that high right now. Basically I have two libraries. One in my home, down the hall. The other on my kindle. Each a collection of about 100 novels.

Although computers have opened up immediate, vast and rich worlds of information that I love, I still love to read books as well. These are friends that I can hold in my hand; I love the scent of books, and the turning of the soft pages. I also think that books may have other benefits...

So what's everyone reading this summer? Some months ago, I picked up Patricia Cornwell's The Scarpetta Factor and am finally getting around to reading it. You?Another question: Do you read via a Kindle or Nook device, or are you a fan of the paperback or hardcover book-book?CHW, fan of paperbacks
