   My oldest son was plaqued with Cradle Cap, well into his teen years. It was so bad, that his hair was falling out. Biotin deficiency was one of the many problems that was the root cause. Suggested Adult dosage is 300mg daily. Also changing his shampoo helped. Can also be dryness, apply coconut oil, very effective for dry skin. Another effective healing agent is vitamin E. Purchase a reputable brand, in capsule form, puncture the capsule with a straight pin, and apply the liquid directly to the skin, can be purchased in a topical cream. Vitamin E will speed healing and treat the cause. You may take vitamin E orally, but donot exceed 400IU daily. It is a blood thinner, and may be a problem above that dosage amount. Never take vitamin E with warfarin, coumadin or any other prescription blood thinner. Another helpful supplement is krill oil, very benefical to skin health, 60mg twice a day. I hope this helps.

   Derma E, Psorzema Creme, 4 oz
   This is the best cream I know of, it has wonderful active ingredients, it will help with symptoms. But since psoriasis/eczema are autoimmune conditions, the actual treatment for it is complex, involving changing a diet and addressing over reactive immune system and vitamin deficiencies. Any person with an autoimmune condition should be seen by a qualified herbalist or best yet a naturapath.

   We treat one of my children topically with olive oil.  It not only keeps the skin from drying out, but helps to treat the rash as well.  Her skin condition improves the more we consistently apply it.
