I have that kind of laugh several times a week.  It's a kind of humor that I share with a) my sister and b) my ex-husband and c) all three of us together.   Some combination of us gets each other going when we joke about how absurd some things are, and then someone will build on what the other has said.   It's kind of a "thing" I get going with either or both of the two people.   It's just what we do.  Sometimes it's really "bad" when get to making funny cracks to one another somewhere like the grocery store.  I laugh with a lot of people, but the particular two I mentioned tend to be the ones who share the same the sense of "absurdity of it all" that I have, so that makes for lots of fuel for laughing.  Our respective lives, and the parts of our lives that we all share, tend to make each of us feel like the straight person in a sitcom series; so each of us makes it a point to "write" whatever funny lines come to mind and we find ourselves having the proverbial jolly good time in spite of having far from stress-free lives.   smile

Seeing the humor in things becomes a habit, and I'm glad it's a habit I've gotten into.   smile

Thanks for sharing Lisa HW. I agree with you that humor is a good habit. I am happy to know that you are able to laugh hard frequently.

    Hi Lastheart,
When I was at my daughter's house a couple of weeks ago, my grandson Nicholas(6 yrs old) and I, were playing "Mario Cart", a video game, and I was laughing so hard that I couldn't stop, and I was trying to control the car and keep it on the track....and my little Nicky was winning.....he was laughing so hard too, because I was so bad at the game....we played over & over and I lost every time.....it was so great to laugh like that!...thanks for your questions, it's a great one!
    Take care, Helen

That is so wonderful that loosing, playing and sharing gave (and gives) you such a good laugh. I bet your grandson treasured this. The best is that it will help him in the midst of a troubled situation. Thanks so much for sharing you made my heart sm
